Finally! We made it to the Grand Canyon!!!
It was a long journey out west but it was totally worth it! Lauren & I got to camp for not just one, but two nights in the Grand Canyon! We had both seen pictures of the canyon before but let me just tell you that the way we felt when we saw the it for the first time is something we will never forget. During our stay we were able to walk the Canyon Rim Trail, do a 5 mile hike down into the canyon, drive to Desert View to see where the Colorado River enters the canyon, and view two sunsets and a sunrise. This has been our favorite part of the trip yet!
